What makes this job worthwhile is that many of the patients are relying on you.
I used to participate in volunteer activities and have always been keenly interested in social activities. I felt I could do more to help the poorest people in Cambodia so I changed jobs. It’s been three years since I started working at Japan Heart, and now I’m the leader in the administration department. What makes this job worthwhile is that many of the patients are relying on you. When the patients I interact with are treated at the hospital, their family members and friends also become happy. I didn’t know anything about patients until I started this job, but now I can help them. Also, I can learn a lot about Japanese working style from Japanese staff, and the days when I can learn a lot of new things are very fulfilling.
